Who we are

\n

About Stripe

\n

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

\n

About the team

\n

The Compliance organization is responsible for building the most trustworthy network in the financial ecosystem by safely and efficiently managing complex global regulatory and partner obligations. We are executing a multi-year, strategic investment to embed automation, self-service, and AI across all workflows, ensuring our platform can scale reliably and safely to meet all future global demands.

\n

We are looking for a Product Manager who will own a part of the compliance platform and help us transform how we execute large-scale, ongoing compliance requirements globally.

\n

What you’ll do

\n

Responsibilities

\n

As a Product Manager for the Compliance Platform, you will be responsible for:

\n
    \n
  • Owning the core compliance control plane: Define and deliver the unified API and self-service platform that serves as the single source of truth for all large-scale, ongoing compliance program execution.
  • \n
  • Driving  operational autonomy and safety: Lead the strategic shift to enable non-engineering teams to autonomously manage global compliance programs end-to-end, building in guardrails and intelligence to eliminate operational errors and achieve zero unintended business disruptions.
  • \n
  • Maximizing engineering and data leverage: Ensure the platform's architecture and data model are highly accurate and extensible, shifting the engineering focus from manual execution and data cleanup to platform innovation and automation across all operational workflows.
  • \n
\n

Who you are

\n

Minimum requirements

\n
    \n
  • 8+ years in Product Management, specifically in shipping large-scale, complex, and technical platform or infrastructure products
  • \n
  • Proven experience leading ambitious, ambiguous 0-to-1 projects that require significant cross-functional alignment and organizational change.
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of API design and data modeling principles, with a track record of building reusable, high-leverage components
  • \n
  • Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills to negotiate timelines and align roadmaps across multiple organizations.
  • \n
  • Data-driven approach to product management, with experience defining and tracking metrics related to operational efficiency, platform health, and system accuracy.
  • \n
\n

Preferred qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Experience building internal tooling or "platform-as-a-service" offerings that successfully centralize and automate decentralized operational workflows.
  • \n
  • Background working on products that utilize Machine Learning or AI to automate complex decision-making processes or generate optimized operational plans.
  • \n

\nWhy are you being asked to complete this form?\n

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

\n

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
