DoorDash Labs is an independent team inside of DoorDash incubating long-term bets and exploring new technologies that can be applied to transform last-mile logistics. We believe in the value of advanced technologies and strive to build meaningful applications of next-generation hardware and software to impact real-world needs. Product Managers at DoorDash Labs are both strategic as well as deeply engaged in execution. Product managers own concepts end-to-end, across technologies and teams, as well as from concept, through testing and iteration to commercial launch. We’re looking for a motivated, curious and results-oriented product manager to own the definition of autonomous driving behaviors for last-mile delivery robots. YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL… - Drive the product definition, strategy, and long term vision of DoorDash robotics and autonomous delivery products - Own cross-functional work streams spanning a broad group of stakeholders including software and hardware engineering, design, operations, legal, policy, communications, and business development. - Define KPIs and communicate product strategy and results to key stakeholders including the leadership team - Refine requirements based on the product strategy and business needs - Work with a world-class team of engineers and business leaders WE'RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE… - You have 5+ years of Product Management experience in robotics, autonomy, or similar projects involving autonomous navigation. - You have experience both defining behaviors, as well as the systems by which good and poor behavior can be differentiated, quantified, and measured. - You have experience in driving product strategy, vision, and roadmap alignment - You want to own a product across the full lifecycle from product development, through launch, commercialization, and scaling - You’re a hands-on owner, willing to drive execution in addition to strategy - You are a skilled communicator, and have experience crafting and presenting business reviews to senior executives Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC Only We use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
