Job Description

You’ll help shape the future of Coder’s enterprise platform - a critical pillar for scaling adoption across our largest customers. Your work ensures our platform meets the operability, scalability, and security standards that enterprise teams demand.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, customers, and sales teams to design features, validate needs, and ship improvements that reduce friction and increase reliability. This is a technical product role with deep exposure to infrastructure and deployment patterns.

What you’ll do here

  • Define and drive roadmap features like resource quotas, template policies, and reference architectures

  • Write crisp product requirements and collaborate with engineering on RFCs

  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to research needs in FinOps, AI security, analytics, and observability

  • Conduct enterprise-scale testing with engineers to uncover and remediate platform gaps

  • Ship features that streamline deployment and support enterprise sales motion

What we’re looking for

  • Product management experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering contexts - or past hands-on experience in those roles

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, observability, enterprise infra, and scaling challenges

  • Strong customer research skills: discovery calls, feedback synthesis, problem validation

  • Technical aptitude: can set up demo environments, run basic tests, and engage credibly with engineers

Bonus tacos if you have

  • Observability expertise - tools, metrics, and best practices for large-scale systems

  • Experience writing technical blog posts or documentation for an enterprise audience

  • Familiarity with developer platforms or workspace tools (e.g., Coder, Gitpod, DevBox)
