About the Team We are looking for a Head of Production and Engineering Finance to partner with Global Manufacturing—and provide executive level strategic support. This role will help drive forward-looking pricing activities, portfolio analysis, cost structure optimization, market and situational awareness, and enterprise resource allocation decisions. The successful candidate will build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, playing an active role in shaping strategy rather than functioning solely as a service provider. About the Role This is a highly visible, cross functional leadership position. You will support Anduril’s rapid growth and most critical business decisions through analytical insight, financial expertise, and strategic recommendations. You’ll be embedded as a thought partner to senior leadership, with responsibilities like, partnering with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, marketing, product, and growth teams to optimize cost management, pricing, and financial strategies. This person will also lead cross-functional business case analyses, connecting operational metrics with financial outcomes to drive resource allocation and product profitability. This role requires a first-principles mindset, ownership mentality, and comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment. What You’ll Do - Serve as a daily partner to Senior Leaders, providing finance executive level expertise across divisions. - Lead planning and execution of financials and resource analysis across functions such as engineering, supply chain, program management, and operations. - Develop long term cost management and reduction programs, including product profitability roadmaps for new technologies. - Own forecasting models and build bottoms up, data-driven financial impact analyses (segmentation, pricing optimization, cost of goods sold). - Compile, review, and present budgets, cost allocations, performance dashboards, and KPI health metrics. - Provide customer program reporting, including invoicing, monthly financials, incurred cost proposals, and backlog reviews. - Translate A/B testing and product experimentation into forecasted profitability and unit-economics. - Develop post-launch monitoring and optimization plans. - Champion financial transparency, risk/sensitivity assessments, and executive decision support. - Define and deploy global methodologies, standards, and finance transformation initiatives for consistency and automation. - Deliver continuous improvement by implementing best-in-class data visualization and reporting tools. Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Business or equivalent experience. - 10 to 15+ years of finance experience in Big Tech, manufacturing, or government contracting, with 5+ years in leadership. - Strong financial modeling, cost analysis, and analytical skills with precision in dissecting complex quantitative problems. - Proven experience influencing senior leadership and supporting Board-level decision-making. - Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx). - Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including executive-level presentations. - Intellectually curious, results-oriented, and comfortable in ambiguous, high-visibility roles. - Track record of driving transformation, continuous improvement, and measurable bottom-line impact. - Must be a U.S. Person (due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information and facilities). US Salary Range $254,000 - $380,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
